Your health matters and Robin wants to help you be as healthy as possible. As employee-owners, our personal choices can both positively and negatively affect the business. We have a responsibility to take ownership of our health. The program is designed to support you on your journey to health and well-being. Staying healthy through early detection and preventive medical services is an investment you can make in your health. Remember preventive care is covered at 100%

You must complete all of the following in 2018 to be considered a participant in the Voluntary Wellness Program:

  1.  Annual Physical– Your physical will assess you for a number of risk factors and enable you to build an ongoing relationship with your primary care provider
  2. Diagnostic Blood Work – Screening results you receive will assess you for a number of risk factors. Knowing your numbers will allow you to take steps to improve your health risks.
  3. Quarterly Meetings with Company Nurse – The nurse is available to listen and help with any goals you have in mind.

5 Tips to Make the Most of Your Health Plan

  1. Get a primary care doctor
  2. Participate in health fairs and see the company nurseSchedule preventive screenings and shots
  3. Treat current conditions and follow recommended treatment plans
  4. Eat healthy and stay hydrated
  5. Get enough sleep
  6. Be active, exercise, stretch

REWARDS

Good health is its own reward, but it doesn’t hurt to get something for your efforts. You may earn an additional incentive if you have completed the three wellness activities listed above AND a cheek swab conducted during one of your quarterly meetings with a company nurse confirms that you are tobacco-free.

Recommended Weight Reward $100 Meet height/weight chart requirement on the nurse’s chart, or a healthy weight that your doctor has recommended and documented
